Welcome to the Hannibal Arts Council

Founded in 1975, the Hannibal Arts Council continues to celebrate the joy the arts bring to life through presenting and encouraging community arts programming at all levels of the community. As a multi-discipline organization, the Hannibal Arts Council celebrates the arts – visual art, music, dance, theatre, and writing – in all its forms.

Our Goals:

• Support and encourage the arts in all forms
• Encourage artists
• Connect the community with art, artists, and community arts programs
• Remind us all that art surrounds us daily
• Offer forums in which artists may showcase themselves and their art
• Connect the arts with audiences and audiences with the arts
• Bring a greater awareness of what art opportunities are in the region
• Nurture individuals to discover the artist within
• Offer and support community arts programming that is accessible, approachable, and affordable
