The Wild & Wacky Art Adventure is held each August at Hannibal’s Central Park from 9:00 am until Noon. The event has turned out to be a great success. When 100 kids showed up the first year we were very pleased. Now we welcome 500 kids! The program is meeting its goals.

The Hannibal Arts Council saw a need to provide positive and healthy activities in which parents and children can interact, work side by side, explore creativity, and in some ways strengthen the sense of “family”. The Adventure meets those goals and connects families in a whole new way. We have also been able to develop some amazing partnerships with local arts and civic organizations.

Children love the Wild & Wacky Art Adventure. Hand painting t-shirts is just one of the many activities that introduce children hands-on to the arts.
