Arts in Education
• Fine Arts Month in Schools provides arts-related assemblies and workshops in Hannibal’s schools – encouraging student creativity and imagination.

• HAC Past President’s Scholarship provides a $500 scholarship for a HHS graduating senior.

Hands-On Learning and Involvement
• First Friday Art Adventures are monthly art programs to bring children and families together for creative fun.

• The Art of Giving Holiday Workshop is an opportunity for children to experience the arts and giving in a fun and festive way. 

• Hands-On Workshops and Summer Day Camps reach both children and adults.

• Weekly Workshops for adults are an opportunity to explore creativity.

• Monthly Meetings for many art-related organizations are held at the Hannibal Arts Council

Gallery Exhibits

• Monthly Exhibits spotlight local and regional artists and allow them to exhibit and sell their works.

• Exhibit Receptions for each to meet the artists, enjoy refreshments and connect with friends.

• “Young Masters” Exhibits give Hannibal’s high school and 5th grade students the opportunity to be involved in a real-life gallery experience. 

• ORiGINALE I & II Exhibits brings artists from a 50-mile radius under one roof for the area’s largest regional exhibits.

On-Going Series

• Cultural Café Series offers an important art program that fits neatly into a lunch hour.  Food for the body, food for the soul.

• The Sunday Series, our newest program, features relaxed, intimate performances by local artists, writers, and performers.

• Second Saturday Gallery Nights in participation with other downtown galleries.

• Concerts & Lectures are offered periodically throughout the year.

• THE ARTS, our newsletter, let’s you know what is going on.

• Weekly E-Mail Alerts keeps you up-to-date on upcoming arts events.

Services
• Our Major Events contribute to the tourism economy, celebrate the arts in a highly visible way, and contribute to our sense of community.

• Autumn Historic Folklife Festival, our most visible event, is a mainstay in the community and helps define our community’s culture. 

• Wild & Wacky Art Adventure continues to grow as a hands-on art adventure for children and families.

• Annual Fundraiser/Theme Party raises awareness of and provides valuable local support for the arts.
